World of Warcraft: Cataclysm

An ancient evil lies dormant within Deepholm, the domain of earth in the Elemental Plane. Hidden away in a secluded sanctuary, the corrupted Dragon Aspect Deathwing has waited, recovering from the wounds of his last battle against Azeroth and biding his time until he can reforge the world in molten fire. Soon, Deathwing the Destroyer will return to Azeroth, and his eruption from Deepholm will sunder the world, leaving a festering wound across the continents. As the Horde and Alliance race to the epicenter of the cataclysm, the kingdoms of Azeroth will witness seismic shifts in power, the kindling of a war of the elements, and the emergence of unlikely heroes who will rise up to protect their scarred and broken world from utter devastation.

3 Secret Tips to Power Leveling 1-80 for World of Warcraft: Cataclysm

Wednesday, September 16th, 2009

So whether you just got into World of Warcraft or you are interested in playing again for the new expansion, you will want to start with a level 80 character since the level caps have been increased to 85. I personally enjoy the first few months just after a new expansion releases because the servers just get so crowded and everybody’s basically fighting for the same quests. Of course it gets better in a PvP server. I mean it does get annoying when other players bother your peaceful soloing, however, from a third person’s view, all these players questing simultaneously, PvPing, emoting, raging and graveyard walking at the same time are what make the game so attractive. The competition is so intense that at the day of the launch, people are desperate to be one of the fastest people to level to 85. And I’m sure you want to too.

But what if you are not level 80 yet? For the newcomers or people who are returning, it’s gruelsome to think about leveling all the way back from level 1. And also, if you want to try the new races, Goblins or Worgens, you will have to start from level 1. This is why you are reading this article: to learn the quickest way possible to level from 1 to 80.

* The RAF Program

If you are making a new account, hold on. Have a friend “recruit you as a friend” before you do so. What this does is give you 300% faster experience than creating a new account yourself. Basically, as long as you and the person that have recruited you are within 4 levels and partied up, you will receive 300% bonus experience whether it is from questing, grinding or exploring. Not only that, you can both summon each other from anywhere evevry hour. This is useful if you have picked Night Elf while your friend is starting a Worgen but you both want to start at the Worgen zone. If you have a high level account friend who can boost you, get him in the party along with you and the person who recruited you. By having the high level character run around instances and killing everything, you can level up from 10 to 60 very quickly. Isn’t it great how you can level up three times faster than everyone else?

* Multiboxing

Multiboxing is basically leveling many characters at the same time. Yes, you got it! You can use the RAF program on your own characters and multibox. So imagine leveling not only one of your character but many of your characters quickly and simultaenously! This will take some time and a somewhat powerful computer to accomplish. If your computer has a lot of ram, say around 4GB, you can run at least four characters at a time. But you must be aware that you are adding a new account for each new character you want to multibox with. So you have to consider the amount of money spent to accomplish this. There are programs out there that help you multibox, but be aware that using a third party program could get you in trouble. If you are just one of those people that want to risk a little for productive outcomes, then you could do some researching on multiboxing.

* Finally, Addons

Addons in WoW is like a cellphone to a businessman. You just need it and don’t feel safe without it. There are thousands of addons for world of warcraft. Sometimes people just don’t know which addon to use because they get overwhelmed by them. Many people just use the top downloaded addons that are available. But beneath all those numerous addons, there are ones that are kept low key and only to the gift finders that amplifies the game to the next level. Using an addon, unlike multiboxing, is completely legal and safe. Obviously, you are actually playing and enjoying the game and not depending on third party computer programs to do these for you. Addons these days help you tremendously in terms of questing and leveling. It will not only set paths for you but it will keep in track of all the new quests you have obtained so you could go directly to the next location once you complete one quest. However, this is not “the most” effecient way yet. You still do not know which quest you would want to do first or you may have trouble finishing the quests because they weren’t optimal for your level. So what is the secret in power leveling? You know that professionals still accomplish this somehow. The answer is mastering. In order to master the optimal time for leveling from 1 to 80, you must know when and where to quest so you are not wasting time and getting the maximum experience. And this can be obtained through numerous times of leveling many different characters. Thus, combining the use of addons and applying the known short cut tips from the pros, you can definitely level from 1 to 80 in less than seven days play time!
